Polyproplene
Polypropylene
is exceptionally tough, with a high strength to weight ratio and excellent
resistance to many chemicals over a wide temperature range. It can
be die-cut easily, and can be hot or cold creased to provide an intregral
hinge capability of many thousands of flexings.
Polypropylene sheet may, subject to chemical resistance considerations,
be used over the temperature range -20 degrees Celisus to 90 +degrees
Celisusin certain circumstances, intermittent exposure up to 135 degrees
Celisus is permissible.
Polypropylene has excellent resistance to a wide range of chemicals
and in contrast to Polyethylenes, does not suffer from envoirnmental
stress cracking by detergents and other surface active agents.
Polypropylene can be used in mechanical, packaging and electrical
insulation industries, aswell as many more market areas.
Die-cut components or sheet can be supplied.
