Nylatron
Nylatron proprietary formulations ( GSM, GSM-Blue, NSM ) contain
solid lubricants that impart toughness, low coefficient of friction,
and good abrasion resistance and make it an ideal replacement for
a wide variety of materials from metal to rubber. It weighs only
1/7 as much as bronze. Using Nylatron reduces lubrication requirements,
eliminates galling, corrosion, pilferage problems, and improves
wear resistance and sound dampening characteristics. Nylatron is
an excellent replacement for bronze bushings and is also commonly
used for gears, sheaves, sprockets, wheels, wear pads, slide pads,
thrust washers, and FPSO bushings Some
